The VR-7000 is an IMO-compliant Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) designed to record and store all critical shipboard data. It captures radar, ECDIS, navigation, sensor, audio, and communication data, enabling reconstruction of events before, during, and after maritime incidents. The VR-7000 enhances vessel safety, supports regulatory compliance, and assists in incident investigation and analysis.

  1. Full VDR & Optional S-VDR Configurations: Available as a full VDR or simplified VDR depending on vessel requirements.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Meets IMO VDR performance standards MSC 333(90) and MSC 494(104); S-VDR meets MSC 163(78).
  3. Dual Data Recording Units (DRU): Equipped with fixed and float-free DRUs housed in robust protective capsules resistant to impact, fire, pressure, and submersion.
  4. Long-Term Data Storage: Internal SSD storage allows retention of up to 30 days (720 hours) of voyage and sensor data.
  5. Radar & ECDIS Image Recording: Stores images from multiple radar displays and ECDIS, captured at regular intervals for event reconstruction.
  6. Flexible Sensor Integration: Supports multiple sensor adapters for serial, analog, or digital sensors, allowing broad system connectivity.
  7. User-Friendly Data Access & Playback: Includes Live Player software for real-time monitoring, playback, and data extraction via USB or network.
  8. Easy Integration with Vessel Systems: Interfaces with LAN and serial connections for smooth integration with radar, ECDIS, autopilot, and other onboard instruments. Video signals from legacy systems can be converted for Ethernet integration.
